Publishing Without Walls Daniel G. Tracy Open Monograph Press <p>Publishing Without Walls is a four-year collaborative initiative funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation that aims to develop scholar-driven, openly accessible, scalable, and sustainable infrastructures for scholarly publishing.&nbsp;The <a href="">University of Illinois Library</a>&nbsp;leads PWW in partnership with the <a href="">School of Information Sciences</a>, the <a href="">Illinois Program for Research in the Humanities</a>, and the <a href="">African American Studies Department</a>.&nbsp; PWW aims to develop a model for library-based publishing that directly engages with scholars throughout the research process, while also opening&nbsp;innovative&nbsp;avenues toward publication&nbsp;utilizing digital&nbsp;tools and unique collaborations with&nbsp;university presses and other publishers.
