Honey Bunch: Just a Little Girl
This digitization of Just a Little Girl is based on a reprint dating c.1951 in order to preserve the original 1923 copy in the Rare Book and Manuscripts Library collection. Because Stratemeyer Syndicate reprints were reproduced using the same stereotype plates, rather than through a new typesetting of the original manuscript, to the best of our knowledge, we believe the original 1923 text and its artifacts are preserved in the digitization. This reprint is illustrated with the uniform cover by Harry Lane and pastedowns by Marie Schubert, but lacks the original internal illustrations by Walter S. Rogers. High resolution scans of the first edition cover image and internal illustrations are able to be provided with the help of Deidre Johnson. The reformatted plain text edition was created through a processes of correcting the OCR of the digitization based on the original text, however some basic spelling and grammatical errors have been corrected silently.
