Theophanes Continuatus

Theophanes Continuatus ("continuation of Theophanes") designates a series of works by anonymous authors collectively called Chronographia, but referred to as Scriptores post Theophanem (“those works after Theophanes”). The texts are preserved in an eleventh-century manuscript (Vatican City, Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana, MS Vat. gr. 167), and follow the chronicle of Theophanes the Confessor (d. 817).
