Colis/Callus Jones

Colis had been enslaved by Judge John Thompson Adair (Cherokee). Colis had sons named John and Relda, and a daughter, Parmelia Rowe, who were all Black. Parmelia was the daughter Colis had with Philis Mayfield. Colis later had Eliza Jones as a wife, and they had a son named Jack Jones (Cherokee).

When the Wallace Roll was established, he was living with his grandson, Joseph, son of Parmelia. Colis was dead by the time of the Dawes Roll.
