She studied Graphic Design at the Maryland College of Art and Design. However, Ms. Dare's passion for photography began at the age of 15, when her mother gave her a Polaroid portrait camera for a Christmas present. Ms. Dare draws creative inspiration from photographers Dorothea Lange; Gordon Parks; and Annie Leibowitz, and artistic freedom from the surrealist artist, Salvador Dali.
