The Birth of Pussy Riot: Six Early Songs

Kropotkin-vodka splashes in your tummies

“Kropotkin-vodka” is a reference to Pyotr Alekseevich Kropotkin (1842-1921), who was a famous Russian anarchist who advocated anarcho-communism but was philosophically opposed to centralized governments such as the then newly formed Soviet state. Kropotkin vodka is therefore “a revolutionary drink that has a dual effect: it works well for protesters, but it brings fatal poisoning to the authorities.”
