Just Blaze

Just Blaze first appeared as a producer on the The Dynasty (2000), producing the intro and four additional tracks: “Streets is Talking,” “Stick 2 the Script,” “The R.O.C.,” and “Soon You’ll Understand.” Just Blaze went on to produce songs on Jay Z’s The Blueprint (2001), The Blueprint 2 (2002), and The Black Album (2003).

Just Blaze worked closely with other Roc-a-Fella artists such as Cam’Ron, Beanie Sigel, and Freeway. Just Blaze had a close working relationship with Kanye West during the early 2000s. Both producers became known for sampling old school records and using vocals and drum patterns on a song’s hook and chorus.
