A chart of the Past Month Illicit Drug Use among Persons Aged 12 or Older by Race-Ethnicity in between 2002 and 2013. The race-ethnicities listed are Black or African-American, White, Hispanic or Latino, or Asian. The Black or American group shows a starting point of 9.7% then drops and rises over the years to end at a percentage of 10.5. The White group begins at 8.5% then stays almost steady then rises over the years to end at a percentage of 9.5 in 2013. The Hispanic or Latino group shows a starting point of 7.2% then rises and drops before beginning to rise in 2009 steadily to end at a percentage of 8.8% in 2013. The lowest rates are the Asian group that shows a starting point of 3.5% stays fairly stable over the years with a peak in 2007 at 4.2% to end at a percentage of 3.1% in 2013.
