Abstract

But few species of endemic Lumbricida- have been described from the United States and none from Illinois. The species here described and others of which descriptions are in preparation are of the small group which has had its chief development in North America and which has been designated by Michaelsen as the subgenus Bimastus of
the genus Helodrilus.
