Abstract

The primary purpose of this investigation is the determination of the exact relation of the different species of birds, and of the class in general, to agriculture and horticulture, but includes also birds whose interest is strictly scientific rather than practical, and takes into consideration injuries and benefits of birds. Emphasizes the relationship between birds and insects.  Reports on food month by month for several common species based on examination of specimens.  Summaries and economic impact are presented.
