Description
-
The LA84 Foundation maintains a traditional paper-based library as well as a growing digital library. Together, these collections cover all aspects of sports, with a particular emphasis on Olympic information. The LA84 Foundation was created with a share of the 1984 Olympic Games surplus and since 1985 has been supporting hundreds of non-profit youth sports organizations throughout Southern California annually, trains coaches, commissions research, convenes conferences and maintains the world’s premier Olympic and sports library collection. Although the interface is in English, the collection contains material originally published in other languages, such as French. The material is available in formats such as.pdf, .ps, .doc, .xls, .ppt, and .rtf. This resource has been collected by the DLLACS collection at the Latin American & Caribbean Studies Library.
