The Puerto Rico Online Encyclopedia is a free, online, educational project providing information both in Spanish and English that familiarizes both Puerto Ricans and other users from around the world with aspects of the society, history, and culture of Puerto Rico, as well as the Caribbean region (description from the website). Regarding sports, the Encyclopedia includes videos, images, maps, and information about several sports such as basketball, baseball, sailing, diving, and surf, for instance. The encyclopedia provides information about clubs, national and Caribbean competitions, relevant teams and athletes, both in Puerto Rican history and now. Several articles are available both in English and Spanish. This item has been collected by the DLLACS collection at the Latin American & Caribbean Studies Library.
